Analysis of heat state of a radioisotope thermoeectric generator under conditions simulating fire

Description
Stated are the results of mathematical modelling of heat state of radioisotope thermoelectric generators under emergency fire conditions by means of electronic digital computer. Experimental data used for determining the summary heat transfer coefficient to a generator under fire conditions from the solution of the reverse task of thermal conductivity are adduced. In conformity with the Sr90 radioisotope generator given is the numerical analysis of nonstationary distribution of its elements temperatures under short-term fire heat action with provision for internal heat release under conditions of isotope decay and thermoelectric effects in a converter
