A duopigatron metal ion source at the 300 kV test accelerator

Description
A Duopigatron ion source was adapted to the 300 kV test-accelerator. Metal ions were generated by sputtering in the low voltage high current mode of this source. The el. currents of low-charged ions analyzed after acceleration to 100 kV are given in a table for several elements. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Eine Duopigatron-Ionenquelle wurde fuer den Einsatz am 300 kV-Testbeschleuniger eingerichtet. Metallionen wurden durch Zerstaeubung bei niedriger Spannung und hoher Stromstaerke erzeugt. Die nach der Beschleunigung auf 100 kV analysierten elektrischen Stroeme schwach geladener Ionen werden in einer Tabelle dargestellt. (orig./AK)
