Investigations into ion production during the inpact of fast dust particles with masses up to 10-7 g on metal surfaces

Description
A detector system, similar to the PIA set-up, was used to investigate the relation between the mass and impact-ioncharge of glass projectiles with masses up to 10-7g and velocities in the range 5 km/s to 10 km/s. As particle accelerator the plasma accelerator of the TU Munich was used. (orig.)
