Three-nucleon transfer with light projectiles

Description
An experimental study of direct nuclear reactions in which three nucleons are exchanged is discussed. The (p,α) and (α,p) reactions on even A tin isotopes and the 118Sn(p,α)115In reaction with polarized protons are studied together with the (p,α) reaction on cadmium, nickel and calcium isotopes. A semi-microscopic description of the results is given. Attention is paid to finite-range effects and coupled-channel calculations. Preliminary results of (p,α) reactions on even lead isotopes are given. The (p,α) reaction on 96Mo is analyzed. A DWBA analysis of the experimental data is given
