Description

Measured are the intensities of quadrupole hydrogen S(1) Λ 6367.76 A lines in the spectra of Jupiter (center-to-limb) and S(1) Λ 6367.76 A, S(0) Λ 6435.03 A lines of the H2(4-0) band in the spectra of Saturn (center-to-limb). In frames of two-layer atmosphere model the abundance of molecular hydrogen in the atmospheres of Jupiter and Saturn has been determined. The rotational temperatures Tsub(v) for different regions of the Saturn atmosphere along the intensity equator have been estimated as 99-115 K
