Charge state of the leading hadron in the reaction π-+ nucleus →μ++μ-+ hadrons

Description
The charge state of hadrons produced together with μ+μ- pairs and vector mesons in meson-nucleon interactions is discussed. An experimental indication is presented of a difference in the charge state of the leading hadron for cases of production of rho-ω, J/psi, and background muon pairs in the reaction π-+Cu→μ+μ-+ hadrons at 50 GeV/c
