Description
Using examples from nuclear technology, the following is discussed: how efficient the present practical measures are for increasing reliability, which weak points can be recognized and what appears to be the most promising direction to take for improvements. The following are individually dealt with: 1) determination of the relevant parameters for the safety of a plant; 2) definition and fixing of reliability requirements; 3) process to prove the fulfilment of requirements; 4) measures to guarantee the reliability; 5) data feed-back to check and improve the reliability. Anhand von Beispielen aus der Kerntechnik wird diskutiert, wie leistungsfaehig derzeit praktische Massnahmen zur Zuverlaessigkeitserhoehung sind, welche Schwaechen erkennbar sind, und in welcher Richtung Verbesserungen erfolgversprechend scheinen. Im einzelnen werden diskutiert: 1) Ermittlung der fuer die Sicherheit einer Anlage relevanten Parameter; 2) Definition und Festlegung von Zuverlaessigkeitsanforderungen; 3) Verfahren zum Nachweis der Erfuellung von Forderungen; 4) Massnahmen zur Gewaehrleistung der Zuverlaessigkeit; 5) Datenrueckfuehrung zur Ueberpruefung und Verbesserung der Zuverlaessigkeitssicherung.
