Continuous Analysis of Gaseous Products Evolved During Temperature-Programmed Pyrolysis of Cellulose Materials

  • 1. Institute of Coal and Coal Chemistry, SB RAS, 18, Sovetsky Ave., Kemerovo, 650099 (Russian Federation)

Description

Previously Mo (VI), V (V) and W (VI) additives have been found to influence considerably the thermal destruction of cellulose materials, and their efficiency in cellulose carbonization has been shown to decrease in the order of: Mo (VI) > V (V) > W (VI). The objective of this study is to investigate Mo (VI) additive effects on the gas formation processes during thermal decomposition of cellulose fibers.
