Description

Stability of helium flow at supercritical pressure in cryochannels was investigated. Technique for determination of stability limit at arbitrary distribution of heat flow density over the length of the channel is described. Effect of heterogeneity of axial heat load on position of stability limit is determined. This effect is accounted for the linear law of heat load change over the length of the channel by a non-dimensional parameter identifying ratio of heat release intensity at the inlet and outlet of the channel
