Planning of how to apply neutron scattering technologies to development of advanced energy materials

Description

- Concerning the past results and future directions of researches on secondary batteries, fuel cells, energy storage materials, and nuclear materials (as helped by neutron scattering technologies), experts in each area conducted in-house seminars to accomplish planned researches organizing the directions of researches in the next stage. - In 2011 as the second year of the project, the Institute focused on acquiring projects based on the its planning for each area of studies. - The advanced nuclear technology research center project (initiated in December 2011) selected as its embedded project the studies on in-situ measuring techniques by using small angle neutron scattering technologies
