Ion optics of displaced quadrupole lens charge selector

Description

The ion optics of displaced quadrupole triplet and quintuplet charge selectors are described. Relations are derived for off-axis displacements of the elements in terms of the optical parameters of the quadrupole elements. (Auth.)
