Facing of powder coatings by beam of relativistic electrons

Description
Results of welding of powder watings with a relativistic electron beam without previous sputtering of a powder layer are given. It is shown that the facing by means of volumetric heating of a powder layer up to melting with the relativistic electron beam in air permits to produce high-quality coatings of approximately 1 mm in thickness fotr the facing rate of up to 400 m/h and productivity of up to 2 m2/h
