Description

A numerical method for the implicit solution of the complete 3-dimensional time dependent fluiddynamic equations is described. The equations are discretizised in space. After a linearisation process the resulting matrix equation is solved efficiently by a fractional step method. Large time steps are reached. Problems of stability are discussed. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Eine numerische Methode zur Loesung der vollstaendigen 3-dimensionalen zeitabhaengigen Fluiddynamikgleichungen wird beschrieben. Diese Gleichungen werden zunaechst im Ort dikretisiert. Das daraus resultierende System gewoehnlicher Differentialgleichungen wird implizit behandelt und effizient mit einem Aufspaltungsschema geloest. Die implizite Behandlung der Gleichungen ermoeglicht grosse Zeitschritte. Probleme der Stabilitaet werden diskutiert. (orig.)
