Description
Numerical EXperiment of Tokamak project is briefly described. The goal of the project is the development of the simulation codes executed on massively parallel computers which can be applied to the next generation tokamaks such as ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor) with improved prediction ability. The NEXT project involves researches on simulation models relevant to fusion plasmas, on parallel computing technology, and on architecture of massively parallel computers. (author)
