RI angiographic diagnosis of tricuspid regurgitation
- 1. Okayama Red Cross Hospital (Japan). Cardiovascular Center
Description
Intravenous RI angiography was performed in 10 cases of tricuspid regurgitation and 7 cases of control group. Angiograms were made in the 450 right anterior oblique view. In 7 cases (70%) of tricuspid regurgitation, activity appeared in the inferior vena cava. This finding was important for diagnosis of tricuspid regurgitation. But this technique was less sensitive than contrast echocardiography. (author)
