Tracking through injection septa and Indus-2 ring for few turn circulation of the electron beam
Creators
- 1. Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology, Indore (India)
Description
The transfer line TL-3 is successfully commissioned and the beam is transmitted through the line with nearly 90% transfer efficiency. To make the injection possible into Indus-2 and to look for a few turn circulation of the electron beam a graphical user interface has been developed using accelerator toolbox (AT) with which both injection septum were operated in a controlled fashion to achieve a good injection. The beam was circulated in the ring for six turns without using injection kickers. (author)
