Determining nitrogen laser channel parameters

Description
This paper reports the measurement of the nitrogen laser channel current using a magnetic probe. For a 46 cm laser channel of gap 16 mm operated at 10 kV, 60 torr with foil capacitors of 58 and 28 nF, the channel current, inductance and resistance are found to be 42 kA, l.6 nH and 0.1 Ω respectively.
