Radiation modifying of fluorobon F-40
Description
The heat resistance, strength, strain and viscous flow characteristics of fluorolon-40 subjected to radiation-induced modification are considered. It is shown that in the case of irradiation in an inert medium (argon) with doses of 40 to 100 Mrad, the heat resistance of cast articles and coatings increases by 40 deg C, the performance characteristics of the cast specimens improving several tenfold under load
