Description
The effects of ionozing radiation on the human body are described, including acute effects as well as the long-term effects of small doses on which radiation protection norms are based. It is concluded that more is known about radiation hazards than that of any other toxic agent. Consequently, these norms are well established internationally since 1928 by the International Commission on Radiological Protection
