The determination of small vanadium contents in natural and waste waters by voltammetric method

Description

Potassium bromate reduction on graphite and glassy carbon electrodes was studied in the presence of vanadium (5). The maximum value of the catalitic current corresponds to pH=2.5 and it is proportional to the concentration of vanadium in solution. The detection limit is 0.04 mkg/1. The method was tested on natural and waste waters. 12 refs.; 2 figs
