Promising methods of strengthning and restoring elements of NPP equipment during repair and modernization
Description
Methods for increase of surface properties of NPP equipment and their restoration using laser and chemical heat treatment as well as detonation method of surface coating, mainly, with oxides and cermets are developed. A possibility of preparing steel coatings several micrometers thick is shown. Data on studies of 15Kh1M1F steel samples with coating of Kh18N15 powder steel are presented. It is noted that at present the developed methods of restoration may be used only for unimportant components of NPP equipment
