Description
This academic report examines whether marine renewable energies are as sustainable as they are commonly claimed. After some generalities (definitions, existing, developed and projected technologies), the author addresses social aspects: marine law, social law, education, protection of user interests. He addresses environmental issues (regulatory aspect, site safety), economic issues (investment, electric power cost, reliability, job creation, taxing)
