Development and testing of a small-volume sampling system in experimental processes
Description
A device is described used for remote liquid sampling by the way of sucking-in the liquid through hollow needles perforating the elastic cover of the capacity. The standard 20 cm3 bottle for antibiotics which is closed by a rubber stopper with aluminium cap was chosen as the capacity for sampling. The sample volume is equal to 12-18 mm, the time of sampling being from 40 to 15 s. The closed method of sampling used in the above system eliminates the excess contamination and product losses. The device is reliable in operation, and its design permits to conduct remote replacement of quickly wearing units
