The solvated positron; towards a theory
Description
A sequence of model calculations is proposed for the hydrated positron. These are similar in certain respects to models for the hydrated electron and are built around a small cluster of water molecules and the enclosed positron. A novel technique coupling an ab initio and phenomenological calculation is advanced. Results give angular correlation curves which are significantly broader than the experimental results. (Auth.)
