Recurrence of carcinoma of the lower lip treated by interferon and irradiation

Description

A seventy-year-old patient was referred to our hospital for a tumour on the lower lip, which had been growing for the last two years. On the first clinical examination, the tumour, measuring 3.5 cm in diameter, was visible to the naked eye. Histological examination of the biopsy sample confirmed verrucous carcinoma. (author)
