On the geometric factor of a cylindrical particle detector

Description
The geometric factor of a system of two cylindrical detectors for registering the hard component of cosmic radiation has been calculated. It is shown that the registration effectiveness of the cosmic radiation does not depend on the thickness of a detector with a greater radius. An analytical expression has been obtained for the dependence of the geometric factor on the parameters of the considered system. (author)
