On the instability of the Mn magnetic moment under applied magnetic field in TbMn2

Description
Magnetostriction measurements under high steady magnetic field up to 12 T have been performed between 300 and 4.2 K, in order to confirm the instability of the local magnetic moment of the Mn atoms, μMn, in TbMn2 compound. From these measurements the existence of a critical magnetic field which suppresses μMn has been observed. ((orig.))
