Improvements in or to nuclear reactors
Description
A process is described which is to ensure that no leaks are present between the secondary and primary circuit of a nuclear reactor plant. The secondary circuit at a higher pressure contains a gaseous substance which can form a radio-active isotope on irradiation in the nuclear reactor. A monitoring device in the primary circuit would show the apperance of the isotope in the latter. The application mentioned is the use of an HTGR for process plant (e.g. steam/methane reforming process plant). There are 16 sub claims. (UWI)

Es wird ein Verfahren beschrieben, mit dem sichergestellt werden soll, dass keine undichten Stellen zwischen dem Sekundaer- und dem Primaerkreislauf einer Kernreaktor-Anlage vorhanden sind. Der auf hoeherem Druck befindliche Sekundaerkreislauf enthaelt eine gasfoermige Substanz, die bei Bestrahlung im Kernreaktor ein radioaktives Isotop bilden kann. Eine Ueberwachungseinrichtung des Primaerkreislaufs wuerde das Auftreten dieses Isotops in diesem anzeigen. Als Anwendung ist die Benutzung eines HTGRS fuer eine Prozess-Anlage (z.B. Dampf/Methan-Reformingprozessanlage) genannt. 16 Unteransprueche. (UWI)Files
