X-radiation from a plasma corona in experiments on foil irradiation by a laser beam

Description
Experimental studies of energy, spectral, spatial and time characteristics of X radiation of plasma generated under laser pulse interaction with foils of different materials are carried out. Wave length of heating radiation is equal to 1.06 μm, power density on the surface of the target makes up 1013-1014 W/cm2. Dependence of the intensity of X-ray emission on atomic number of foil material is obtained, the electron energy distribution function is restored; power content of the superthermal electron component, is determined
