Description
The strong-field ionization of atomic hydrogen induced by elliptically polarized light is studied in detail. In particular, we investigate the ionization spectra for various pulse characteristics, consider the circular dichroism from an excited oriented electronic state, and finally analyze the tunneling regime for few-cycle pulses.
