The different approach to scaling between proton and neutron and parton model
Description
On the basis of the conditions for scaling proposed previously, we investigate the different behavior of structure functions of proton and neutron, which has been reported recently. Using the data on νW2 of deuteron, we obtain √Q2>2GeV for ω>=9 and √Q2>16/(ω-1) GeV for ω<9 as conditions of scaling. We briefly discuss the number of constituents in hadrons. (auth.)
