Full text: Materials at nano and sub-micrometric scales have been the subject of a great number of researches in recent years. The objectives of such studies are ranging from the searching for new properties to the development of manufacturing processes. In this context, the Solution Blow Spinning (SBS) technique has been used due to its simplicity, versatility, low cost and high production rates (when compared to the Electrospinning technique). In the present work, complex ceramics of the superconducting material YBa2Cu3O7-x (YBCO) were produced by SBS. Our focus was the study of the control of the average diameter of the wires using different injection rates of the precursor solution, i.e., using the injection rates of 60, 80 and 100 μL / min, we produced ceramic wires with 258 nm, 562 nm and 954 nm of average diameters, respectively. XRD analyzes did not show secondary phases and magnetic characterizations of the samples showed that they have similar superconducting properties. (author)
