The development of the Dual Thin Scintillator (DTS) in the 1 + 2 coincidence configuration as a neutron spectrometer
Description
The Dual Thin Scintillator (DTS) when operated in the 1 + 2 coincidence configuration, exhibits a peaked response centered at the incident neutron energy. This is a more favorable response to be used with spectrum unfolding techniques and should provide a significant improvement over spectral determination with conventional proton recoil response functions
