Assessment of internal 131I contamination in periodic monitoring

Internal contamination with 131I is divided into two cases: 1. the entire activity is deposited in the thyroid; 2. activity outside the thyroid is not negligible. Derived relations for the activity are expressed using radiation hygiene symbols. (E.S.)
