Description
The classical experiments of neutron time-of-flight spectrometry on bulk multiplying media are using recurrent neutron bursts from a linear accelerator. The adaptation of the ion beam issued from the Cadarache Van de Graaff accelerator is described with the test experiments which were effected. Both methods are compared with respect to the accuracy obtained, the energy resolution and the time consumed

Les mesures classiques de spectrometrie neutronique sur milieux multiplicateurs massifs effectuees par la technique du temps de vol, utilisent des bouffees recurrentes de neutrons issues d'un accelerateur lineaire. On decrit ici l'adaptation pour de telles mesures d'un dispositif pseudo-aleatoire du faisceau d'ions du Van de Graaff de Cadarache et l'experience de demonstration realisee.
