Linear dependencies between thermodynamic parameters of aqueous actinoid ions

Description
The dependences between the thermodynamic parameters (ΔG0 and ΔH0) of aqueous actinoid ions have been studied. It is shown that the Gibbs energies and the enthalpies of formation of tri-, tetra-, penta-and hexavalent aqueous actinoids are related to each other by linear dependences. Two equations are derived, the first for the tri-, the second for the tetra-, penta- and hexavalent ions. It is suggested that the structure of tetra-valent actinoid ions is closer to that of penta-and hexavalent than to that of the trivalent ions
