Application of nuclear reaction to protein determination in grains

Description
(d,p) reaction induced by 13 MeV deuterons in 14N and 12C was used for determining the 14N/12C rations in grains of wheat and rice. The feasibility to use the technique for selection purpose in plant breeding is discussed
