The Iranian nuclear agreement reinforces the role of Tehran in hydrocarbons

The 14 July 2015 agreement between Iran and the international powers limits nuclear scope for Tehran. But it will also, and above all, have a strong impact on Iran's policies in the hydrocarbon domain, as it allows Tehran to reinforce its stakes in the international market for oil and gas. (author)
