Description

The paper considers the 15-year experience gained by MEPhI experts in developing and implementing the educational programs of different graduate levels in the area of Nuclear Security. The following aspects are discussed in the paper: specific features of the Master of Science Graduate Program and Engineer Degree Program; overview of the programs curricula and the special laboratories; experience in collaboration with Russian (Tomsk University) and Ukrainian (Sevastopol University) higher schools in developing similar graduate programs; experience in developing the educational programs for staff re-training and qualification upgrading; perspectives for further advancement of the graduate programs in the area of nuclear security with application of the competence approach.
