Study of the recovery of electrical resistance in type B2 ordered Fe-Al alloys after neutron irradiation
Description
Four ordered alloys Fe-38.5, 40.55, 44 and 47 at.% Al were irradiated with neutrons at liquid hydrogen temperature. Four recovery stages are found at the approximate temperatures of 100 K, 200 K, 500 K and 620 K. Their relative amounts are not influenced by the alloy composition but it is observed that the two latter stages are shifted to higher temperatures when the aluminium concentration increases. The activation energies and the dose dependence are investigated. In all the cases, the stage at 500 K is the most important one and its behaviour is in agreement with the free migration of interstitials while close pair recombination occurs near 100 K. (author)
Abstract (French)
Four recovery stages are found at the approximative temperatures of 100 K, 200 K, 500 K and 620 K. Their relative amount are not influenced by the alloy composition ...Additional details
