X-ray diffraction study of crystallization of the amorphous Fe78-xCoxSi9B13 alloys

Description
Crystallization of the amorphous Fe78-xCoxSi9B13 (x = 0, 12, 30, 50, 78) alloys was studied by X-ray diffraction. The investigated specimens were isothermally annealed at 788 K for 101, 102, 103, 104 and 105 respectively. All results shows that lengthening of the annealing time in the investigated specimens creates a solid solution. For alloys with x = 0 we have α-Fe(Si), for x = 12, 30, 50; α-Fe(Co,Si) and for x = 78; α-Co(Si) solid solutions. (author). 8 refs, 1 fig., 1 tab
