Influence of the error of the determination of subcritical assembly parameters on the accuracy of the buckling determination

Description

The objective was to test the influence of errors in determining parameters of the subcritical assembly on the accuracy of buckling determination. This paper deals with measuring the radial component of the material buckling for the rectangular subcritical air cooled uranium-graphite assembly. It contains a Ra-αBe neutron source, lattice pitch being 18 cm. Radial component of the material buckling is depends on the neutron flux distribution and migration area. The influence of the errors in determining these parameters was tested by three methods
