Low temperate electrical conducting composite ceramic materials

Description

Physical-mechanical properties of electrical conducting composition materials developed on the basis of iron phosphate and corundum, where nanopowder of nickel (with sizes of particles about 50 nm) and carbon fiber (⌀ 13 μm, I=370 μm) were used, have been studied. There are established the technological parameters of low temperature consolidation of obtained composites by using of x-ray spectroscopy and SEM method. It is shown, that for realization of high conductivity of the obtained composites the consolidation must be conducted in vacuum at temperature 800 ℃. It is shown also that the best conductivity (1.5×102 ohm.sm) is characteristic to the composite on the basis of corundum filled with 15 mas.% of nickel. Introduction of carbon fibers into composition leads to the increase of electric conductance. (author)
