Description

The overview given is based on the actual state of national and international standardization. The foundations of detectability and detection limits, and their calculation are described. The specific problems resulting from different measurement methods are dealt with. The preparation and evaluation of measurement value collectives of different origin, in particular, if several data are indicated as 'below detection limit', must be performed according to standardized aspects. Some fundamental considerations related to this group of problems are also discussed. (orig./DG)

Der Ueberblick stuetzt sich auf den Stand der nationalen und internationalen Normsetzung. Die Grundlagen von Erfassungs- und Nachweisgrenze und ihre Berechnung werden beschrieben. Auf die besonderen Probleme, die sich bei den verschiedenartigen Messverfahren ergeben, wird eingegangen. Die Aufbereitung und Bewertung von Messwertkollektiven unterschiedlicher Herkunft, insbesondere, wenn einige der Daten als 'unter der Nachweisgrenze' angegeben werden, muss ebenfalls nach einheitlichen Gesichtspunkten erfolgen. Auch zu diesem Problemkreis werden einige grundsaetzliche Gedanken diskutiert. (orig./DG)
