Confined quarks and asymptotic e+e- annihilation
Description
In a version of the massive quark model due to Polkinghorne it is shown that the asymptotic behaviour of R=sigmasub(e+e- → hadrons)/sigma sub (e+e-→μ+μ-) is the same as in the naive quark parton model, where the quarks appear to be produced in the final state. (Auth.)
