Electron beam building-up of metals
Description
The results of investigations on electron beam building - up of the 12Kh18N10T steel sheet of 2Ox6 mm cross section onto 10GN2MFA steel plate using oscillations of electron beam of saw-like form are presented. It has been found that the electron beam building-up method permits to eliminate many typical drawbacks of traditional methods of broad-layer sheet building-up under flux/change in chemical composition, obtaining cast structure on external surface. Choosing correctly building-up operating conditions one can easily attain minimum mixing base and built-up metals which permits to reduce the interlayer spread of the varaible composition
