Effect of external electric field on the pyroelectric field in LiNbO3

Description
Measurements of internal pyroelectric field in a crystal of lithium niobate was conducted by the compensation method using light diffraction on a regular domain structure. Ambiguous change of internal field under the effect of external electric voltage under similar experimental conditions was observed. Anomalous change of internal field is associated with injection space charge initiation at capture of injected carriers by traps in near-the-electrode region of the sample
