Calibration of CR-39 films for environmental monitoring (Preprint No. RE-03)
Description
CR-39 films have been calibrated for the estimation of radon in the environment and for fast neutron dosimetry. Further linearity of relation between radon exposure (E), versus α track density (T) has been established through curve fittings T=6.92 E + 4902 for 5 data points. In addition linear relation between fast neutron dose (Y) and recoil proton tracks (X) has also been obtained through least square fit Y=1.80 X + 254. (author). 4 refs
