Management of the irradiation facility

Description

In the project of 'Management of the core facilities for the research of Radiation Technology (RT)', it efficiently manages and operates the radiation irradiation facility to support basic and applied research using radiation and industrialization of the technology of using radiation. The high-level gamma-ray irradiator supports high-dose (102~106 Gy) irradiation of raw materials and functional polymer materials. The low-level gamma-ray irradiator has low doses (100 ~ 102 Gy) was used to support the food, breeding, cell culture and semiconductor components. In addition, linear electron accelerators failed to provide research support services due to Klystron block failure. In the case of the ion implanter, the research support work was mainly performed for the modification of the surface characteristics of the polymer materials. As a result, we received an average of 86.7 points in satisfaction with external user service and supported 73 SCI (E) articles through a total of 2,748 applications
