Description
Eta meson (η), like the π is a pseudoscalar (0-) meson. Under the Indo-German BARC-COSY collaboration two class of experiments are being carried out at the COoler SYnchrotron, KFA, Julich, which delivers a varying energy high quality beam of protons up to 2.5 GeV. These experiments aim at looking at the formation of η-mesic nuclei in 12C and 16O along with the η-nucleus potential and investigating the η production mechanism
